Instructions[]

1. Pick ANY comic you like from xkcd.

2. Manipulate the comic to include either content from the OTC or the OTT.

If changing text, you may wish to make use of the One True Font.

On Windows, simply click the download link, open the file and select "install".

3. Add a line with the OtherComic number (the number should be a link to the original comic) and your name, so that people will be aware that the comic is being OTTified.

4. Post your altered comic in the table. Please use the thumbnail option to limit the width to 400 pixels.

5. It's perfectly OK to offer another version of a comic that has already been ottified.

6. When you post your creation in the OTT, please add a link to this page as well.

7. You can also OTTify the title text, or add your own.

This is easiest to do in source mode after you have already added your picture. You should see a module that looks like:

(Depending on the size of your image, the "400px" might not be there. That's just a resizing option if your OTTercomic's original size is wider than the column width.)

Delete the "thumb" part if it's still there. If the "thumb" is present, your caption will appear below the image instead of as hovertext.

Add a vertical bar on the far right of the module and follow that with your title-text caption. Make sure the two square brackets are still at the end:

Voilà! Your very own title-text caption!
